April Fools Day

Did you know:
The spaghetti tree hoax is a famous 3-minute hoax report broadcast on April Fools' Day 1957 by the BBC current affairs programme Panorama.
It told a tale of a family in southern Switzerland harvesting spaghetti from the fictitious spaghetti tree, broadcast at a time when this Italian dish was not widely eaten in the UK and some Britons were unaware spaghetti is a pasta made from wheat flour and water.
Hundreds of viewers phoned into the BBC, either to say the story was not true, or wondering about it, with some even asking how to grow their own spaghetti trees.
Decades later CNN called this broadcast "the biggest hoax that any reputable news establishment ever pulled."[1]

Having walked 2/3 the Zamia I have 'bounced' into work but forgotten my lunch!
Told Rosemary she looked very salubrious but don't think that is the right word somehow - will work on it Rosemary! Let's say 'very elegant' instead!!

Tuesday ...

...began well with a long walk with the woofs, then I came to work!!!
...the next best things that happened, amazingly happy and friendly staff at the optician and chemist at lunchtime.  A beautiful Asian girl has started work recently on the checkout in Woollies - she is an inspirationally happy and friendly person - I think we should head-hunt her for the library!!
